Before you read this, I just want to explain why I have written this. I have had a lot of complex emotions recently and thought writing might be a good way to express it. Maybe part of this may resonate with you, maybe you might not take anything from it, but this is written as a reflective piece.

The image below captures a moment I had recently that I thought was significant to share.

Life never stops

“I walk alone, my time postpones,

Life fruitful in sight, alive in delight,

Kids screaming in joy, swans acting all coy.

I’m walking to say goodbye.”

When significant things happen in your life, time always just seems to freeze in your own bubble, and in those moments you forget that time will just keep going around you.

You can’t really tell, but kids were playing and the swans were thriving in that photo and it was a eye opening moment. Life was moving on. I think its beautiful how we can pause and appreciate things, I think we should always be willing to do this. It helps you process things.

Admire life. But always grab back on.

Fruit of youth

“All my friends, deep bonds we share,

I’m planning on never letting them tear,

I’ll carry your fruit even when you pass,

It might be stories, jokes or even laughs,

The fruit of youth will never die.”

Parable from France

This is something I have written in the past, and I explained what I thought youth was to me. I thought it was significant in how I live my life.

If I admire someone I start to copy some of their actions, be it a mannerism or even something like slang. I think everyone does this to a certain degree. The way that you act now is a culmination of everything you have seen other people do and things that have been taught to you. And think about where those people learned that from.

It was passed on. What would you like to pass on to others?

Impact

“significant things, significant signs,

all of it written, between the lines,

put Yourself first, everyone screams,

Is that how our race will Survive?”

I think putting yourself as the number 1 priority is pretty important in your own life. You shouldn’t put yourself in a detrimental state for other people.

But to what ability do you think you can make an impact in other peoples lives without it being a negative thing for you?

Live Life

This was not written in a way to directly teach you anything. But for you to potentially question the way you see certain things I briefly mentioned.

But what I will say is that no matter what, make sure you live life to the best of your ability. Do the things you’ve always wanted to do, do the things you’ve always wanted to learn.
