Alban Way

Alban way, thats the way

Down the country lane,

Abandoned stations, connect the nation,

Upon the dingy way.

A walk today to clear the mind, my neurons set astray

Young mothers with buggys, walkers with boots,

all seem to litter the way,

I must be wrong, the feeling is strong

All their actions had me distracted, which has led me to say.

Every person has a unique destination,

Even though we’re on the same path,

Left to write, right or wrong

Who am I to judge.

Solitude has taught me this, happiness I found,

Multi streams of happiness is what will bring you back,

Relying on others for dopamine, mistake that I made

Don’t get me wrong it was fun, but you have to find your way.

Balance? Seems like the best weigh,

Calibrate back to zero, it’s been a lovely day,

Abrupt movements can play with the reading,

So sit still and reflect on your way.
